Motorboating

Junior Motor Boating

Ages: 12-16, Prerequisites: None, Requirements: None

Classroom and on-the-water! This 10.5 hour class is designed for juniors who wish to obtain the safety certificate required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the operation of a motorboat without adult supervision. Your certificate will be NASBLA approved and USCG recognized. This course will give juniors 8 hours of classroom instruction and 2.5 hours of on-the-water instruction with practical boating knowledge and experience including engine systems, navigation and boating basics. This certificate will also allow them to operate a PWC once they turn 16 years old.
