Kayaking

Learn to Kayak (For beginners)

Ages: 8-16, Prerequisites: None, Requirements: Must be able to swim.

For beginners. Learn to Kayak will focus on kayak maneuvering, safety and on-the-water fun. The course will take place in the protected waters of the Back River of Duxbury Bay. These four-day workshops, Monday-Thursday, are taught by trained instructors from Coastal Kayak Educators. Water shoes are required for all participants. All kayaking equipment, including a single person kayak, paddle and life jacket, is provided. Classes meet across Duxbury Beach Bridge, to the left on the bay side. (Fridays may be used as make-up day if class is cancelled by instructor on site due to wind/weather). Prerequisite: Must know how to swim
