Junior Sailing

Fall 420 Fleet Racing

Grades: 8-12, Prerequisites: 420 Racer/LTR, Requirements: Must be able to swim.

This course will cover high school style fleet racing with an introduction to team racing. Most practices will be spent working on boat handling, boat speed and starting techniques. No spinnakers or trapezes will be used during this course.The cost of this course is based on the Monday-Thursday practice schedule only. Registering for this course does not guarantee that your sailor will be able to compete in events. The selection of individuals to attend events will be done at the coaches discretion. If selected, there will usually be an additional fee to attend events.
