Adult Rowing

Level 2 - Intermediate Hudson

Ages: Adult, Prerequisites: Level 1 - Intro to Row, Requirements: Must be able to swim.

Intermediate Hudson will build on stroke fundamentals and knowledge of rowing to become more confident, efficient rowers. This class will focus on synchronization, timing, drills, and blade work.Additional prerequisites:1. Knowledge of dock and on the water safety.2. Rowers can safely handle rowing equipment, getting in/out of boat, understand proper boat/oar handling.3. Understanding of the stroke sequence.4. Demonstration of the following terms/positions: port, starboard, bow, stern, finish, slide, drive, catch, recovery, weigh enough.
